First intervention in March/April 2008
This school used an internal tool to manage their operation but they had security concerns and needed more features. First, the code was converted to PHP5 Object programming, and the existing development was secured and optimized. Then, all exchanges of information were synchronized between the Intranet hosted in Europe and the Joomla website located in the USA. Next, the main intranet had to communicate with 4 platforms of remote teaching (Moodle) by Web Services (SOAP). More specifically, courses, students and teachers are created in the Moodle concerned by web services called by the main intranet. At the end of the session, the results are repatriated from the Moodle to the Intranet where the statistics and follow-up notes are made. The results and diplomas are managed by contextual pdf associated with personalized and ergonomically optimized mailing tools. Following this first intervention, all the activity of the school were managed on their Intranet with much better results than before. They could work faster and use fewer administrative staff for more students and a better overall quality of teaching. The intranet has also become essential for managing payment plans and financial information.

Intranet Development for an extra European Embassy.
We used an Egroupware we completed with specific features. For example, they can now manage their guests lists for their events, and print the labels for the invitation envelopes via a specificaly built PDF. This development was made with a high demand for confidentiality and it is not possible to reveal the location and nationality of this embassy here. Project carried out in English language. The software has been retouched and refined during a new intervention in 2013.

My responsibilities included: Database Design (MCD), All software architecture, all aspects of recruitment with regard to the 7 technical employees, management and work scheduling, writing weekly reports. Security policy definition and application (computers, software, and general issues), with the security manager coming from French special service D.P.S.D. (Direction Protection Securité de la Défense).
